So Much To Do, So Little Time

It may not be a major city here in the U.S. but boy-oh-boy does Provo pack a punch! There's good reason it's been one of the fastest growing areas in the country. It's exploded onto the tech scene during the last decade and earned its nickname of Silicon Slopes. Bringing with it more jobs, opportunities, and economic growth in the valley. The Provo/Orem area is home to so many great things that it's actually difficult to mention all of them. Things from an incredible food and restaurant scene all the way to one of the strongest housing markets in the country.

Provo is also home to Brigham Young University (BYU) and Orem is home to Utah Valley University. Therefore, it earns it's title of being an authentic college town. Over 70,000 college students descend on this place every fall and bring with them competitive college athletics that they entire town and state gets behind. We haven't even discussed the outdoor opportunities here. I guess you'll have to keep reading.

Get Outside

So, you've heard us talk about what there is to do outside in this place, but hear us out, we'd like to tell you a little more. Yes, the skiing is great. Yes, the hiking is bar-none. And yes, the mountain biking is top-shelf. But, have you heard about our fishing? No, we're not talking about some stocked lake or pond, we're talking about the blue-ribbon trout tributary of the Provo River. Cast your line in these waters and it's rare that you don't haul in a nice one.

The fishing is great, the shopping is great, the restaurants are great. What more could we tell you about to convince you to visit Provo? Well, it's a frequent host to conferences, conventions, and even Boston-qualifying marathons like the Utah Valley Marathon. Also, how about the fact that it's one of the more most family friendly cities in the country. Low crime, high levels of happiness, and lots and lots of dogs. People get outside and do things here. Whether it's a simple picnic at Vivian Park or a boat ride our on Utah Lake, you'll never run out of experiences to be had in the Provo and Orem area.
